A delightful rural town in the Hunter Valley wine region, Singleton is on the banks of the beautiful Hunter River and has a rich collection of colonial buildings to explore. The town is also close to Lake St Clair, a popular waterway for fishing, swimming, sailing and waterskiing.

The Australian Army Infantry Museum has a fascinating military collection, from colonial armies to the deployment in Afghanistan. Under the command of the Army History Unit, the museum is open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday, except on public holidays.
