Mount Gambier is a city in the southeastern corner of South Australia. It’s known for its limestone, volcanic landscape and crater lakes. One of these, Blue Lake, turns cobalt blue in summer. The Lady Nelson Visitor Centre houses a full-size replica of a late-18th-century ship.
The city is South Australia’s largest regional city outside of Adelaide with a population of around 24,000 and is approximately 450km south east of the capital.
